NEVER

RUNNERS

Honoring authentic spaces

that turn into real empowerment

WHAT'S THE DEAL?

We often hear the calls to:

"Live your best life" & "Step into your power."

Well, how do you create and honor authentic spaces for yourself that will genuinely empower you to do that?

It can feel complicated at times...

especially when fear, shame, and pain are involved.

What's the deal?

FINDING AUTHENTIC EMPOWERMENT

VARIOUS WAYS

PEOPLE STEP INTO THEIR POWER

Each of the below methods can have opposite from intended effects on people.

FORCE & FIRE

Pressure and Intensity

Negative effect on some:

Overwhelming. Shut Down.

POSITIVITY

Happy encouragement.

Pep-talks

Negative effect on some:

Doesn't resonate.

Feels insincere.

Can spur negativity.

REVERSE PSYC

Do/say the opposite

Negative effect on some:

Triggering. Can feel manipulative. Untrustworthy.

REAL TALK

Calling it like it is

rain or shine.

Negative effect on some:

Can seem hopeless and uninspiring.

Which method of empowerment is right for you?

It will change depending on the circumstance.

Be true to yourself to continually choose your way -

whatever is authentically empowering you at this moment

Common Steps into Power

THE POWER OF YOUR WAY

We hear a lot of external voices to encourage, inspire, and sell us on what is best for us.

Can you hear what your internal voice is telling you?

Create space where you can be as you are and simply walk your own steps.

It doesn't matter if it's "good enough". That's an external judgement.

The practice is honoring your heart.

Each day is different. Show up as you are

to do what you can do for what you need or want to do.

Starting there will cultivate a power for yourself.

You can use that power to whatever end, led as you're inspired.

Is something being sold here? Just you back to yourself for free.

The Power of Your Way

WHY IS IT CALLED

NEVER RUNNERS?

It's literal and metaphorical.

LITERALLY

Running is a prolific symbol of strength, fitness, hardwork and beauty.

It is also generally expected and encouraged.

There's a portion of the population that does not like to run.

There's a select portion still that wishes to never run if possible.

And still yet, some that will try to never run at all costs.

Those who feel the barrier to running, especially those who experience doses of fear and shame along with it, can feel ostracized, stripped of power by perception, character labeled as lazy, and devoid of a safe space for their experience as a never runner whatever their story may be.

This calls for a revolution to reexamine the never runner heart

and give a bright colorful voice to their experience.

METAPHORICALLY

Never Runners is also a metaphore that applies to everyone.

We all have spaces that we don't feel successful running in, spaces that we ward off as "nevers" or wish we could.

How can we attempt to step into those spaces which

expose our weaknesses and insecurities?

How can we find our power in spaces riddled with

negative experiences, discouragement, and fear?

Why is it called Never Runners?

Different people find empowerment in different ways.

Here are a few...
